Quote Challenge - Stupidity and Polluting Our Planet

We cannot remain looking inwards at ourselves on a small and increasingly polluted and overcrowded planet." - Stephen Hawking Stephen Hawking says it all. People think it can't happen; but we are going to pollute ourselves right out of existence. We have already polluted our waterways with prescription drugs. Animals are dying in our polluted oceans of plastic. Trash is taking over the landfills to the point at which they can't hold any more. Trash such as styrofoam will not break down in our lifetime or our children's lifetime. I could go on; but I look forward to your comments. Photo is from Pixabay.

We all should do our part but I think we are past that point. Not sure what can be done at this point.

I also think it's too late. It looks like we are just another species which will go the way of the dinosaurs! Let's hope that whatever replaces us does a better job of looking after our planet

People (in general) are pretty stupid and, considering what we've done to our planet I think the human race deserves everything nasty which is going to happen to it in future years

I am trying very hard to do my part, I know I am only one but I do try. I recycle as much as I can, glass is a problem to get rid of for me.
