Working On My Tree Early This Morning

Mom has been gone since November and I'm trying to write down everything I can remember about her for future generations. One thing that I don't want to forget was that her favorite flower was the aster. Now I wish that I had asked her about that because I don't know why. All I can remember is that she always looked for it when we were out shopping together for plants for the garden. The second thing I remember is the fact that she LOVED yellow roses. When she and dad renewed their vows for their 30th anniversary, those were the flowers she had for everyone. That is already in my note section in the tree. I know that there has to be millions of stories that will be lost if I don't write them down. Here's hoping that one of the grandchildren pick up my love of genealogy! My own kids aren't interested... unless it occurs later in their lives!
