Do you eat sweets every day?

I wonder if it's too much to eat something sweet each day. I like all kinds of sweets. The ones in the picture are smarties and I haven't eaten them since I was a kid. I like chocolate and candies. I prefer to eat sweets because I can't eat fruits. This is weird. My body doesn't tolerate something healthy ( fruits), but it tolerates sweets. Isn't that weird?
Do you think that eating sweets every day can cause tooth decay? Do you eat sweets every day? What are your favorite sweets?

I eat, but not every day, I do not need to eat sweet every day. It is a big misconception that people get diabetes from sugarDiabetes causes stress, obesity, hereditary factors, irregular nutrition and physical inactivity...

I often hear that diabetes is caused by eating too much sugar. Many people still believe that. Indirectly there can be a connection if a lot of sugar leads to obesity. But it is not the sugar itself.

@Porcospino Of course it's not of the sugar itselfAs I mentioned, stress is the biggest trigger for all diseases, as well as the hereditary factor

@LowRiderX Exactly But some people don't realize that, they still think that sugar is the cause.

I don't eat sweets very often. I like sweet things, but I am allergic to a lot of different things and many of types of sweets contain things that I can't eat. There are a few types of sweet that I am able to eat, but there are very few types to choose from, and most of time I just avoid all of them.

@dya80dya I have had allergies for many years, but they got worse when I got older. Many kinds of sweets contain coconut or palm oil, and I can't eat those things.

@Porcospino My brother had allergies when he was a kid. But now he can eat anything. Can you eat almonds or strawberries?

@LadyDuck No, she is not diabetic. She doesn't eat much sugar. She eats sugar like me. Just a little piece of chocolate or something else. Maybe one tablespoon of honey, sometimes ice cream. But we both eat something sweet daily. We are addicted to sugar.

Sometimes, but it is usually just something like fruit,,or maybe a little ice cream. I am not a huge sweet fan. I will eat it..but I am not obsessed with it.

I have lost my appetite for sweets. I like the occasional piece of cake or donut but I no longer eat candy. When I was a child I was always eating all kinds of candy.

I am diabetic and so artificial sugar is a strict no for me. But yes I have sweet fruits to satisfy my cravings. And when my sugar is well controlled I treat myself to few of these. I treat myself to some Indian sweets on special occasions or some ice cream. But I watch out on amount.
If you have a healthy gene with no history of diabetes, you can continue eating it in moderation.
