I've just finished watching "The Miracle of The Bells", starring Fred McMurray and Frank Sinatra. I was kind of miserably, rueing the fact that I haven't seen a good old movie since "The Quiet Man", that moved me and transfixed me so much that I couldn't move from the screen, not even to go to the bathroom!
Well, I found one, merely by chance. I was looking up "The Borgias", because in the middle of "The Quiet Man", little Michaeleen Og mentions them when he's offered a glass of buttermilk. Upon looking them up, I noticed a list of saints, and stories and pictures, and sure enough, it led me to a search on Joan of Arc, which led me to this wonderful picture, "The Miracle of The Bells". I watched it merely to see Frank Sinatra sing, but stayed because I was absolutely transfixed by the production, acting, and music in this movie.
If you're not afraid of getting out the tissue box for a very well acted and produced black and white film, then here is a link to watch it. If the link doesn't work (it did for me, even with my very slow internet speed) please try YouTube. I'm sure there is a copy there. I know you will enjoy it.

I will look up this movie. I am a great fan of Old Hollywood movies. Among my favorites are those done by David Selznick. Take a look and you'll see there are lots of movies to like here.
