A Lady I Used To Work With

She always came to work with a smile on her face. Her life wasn't any better than ours, but she always made us feel better about the day ahead. She was just fun to have around. I wonder if she had any idea how much she contributed to our well being!! I'm not sure that any of us ever told her, but I'm hoping that she realized it from how often she was sought out each day!
I'm going to try a bit harder to make a difference in the lives of people around me. Maybe I will head out to the backyard and cut some rhubarb for a crumble today. It's a nice summery dessert that everyone likes!! Not quite as good as chocolate lol, but there has to be a bit of balance ;)

I wish we would have had someone like that at my last regular workplace. I think your resolution is great! We should all be like that.

I personally love rhubarb better than chocolate and a crumble sounds divine. I don't think most of us ever know the impact we make on other people's lives.

those're the sort'a folks one 'lways hopes to've 't the workplace. i've found they're most oft the most troubled, jest don't dwell. makin' others feel good helps 'em, too.
yer rhubarb crumble sounds divine! i reckon ya could drizzle a chocolate sauce o'er top ;) sometimes all't takes's a true smile to make that diff'rence.
