I Better Lose More Than A Pound A Week!

I have been mindful of how many calories I eat, now, since the doctor told me I had better, for the sake of diabetes.
Then he told me to increase activity! Ha! I better up date my blog and give him the link.
Breakfast = 6 oz. plain yogurt
Snack = 1 oz extra sharp cheddar cheese
Lunch = I avocado mashed with lime juice, garlic and salt
Dinner = Small bowl black beans with slice of cheese and salsa.
Coffee with cream
And that is 1104 calories!
I mowed one acre on the riding mower, ran out of gas, picked blackberries for an hour, walked the dog 4 laps ( 16 city blocks), Dug a small trench with a shovel and transplanted several eggplant, a basil plant an a tomato plant in new pots. Bagged up all the coke cans to take for recycling, and get paid to do it.
Before going outside I cooked the black beans that I soaked overnight, washed up the jars, filled them with beans and home canned 9 half pints.
Changed Tony`s bed and those are washing now.
I cooked fried cornbread for Tony to have milk and bread. You already know what I had.
I still have to wash dishes but a rest and mylot first.
But I better lose more than a pound a week!

I think if your doctor followed you around one day he would take back his comment about getting more exercise

Increase your activity, when you do so much already!? And that doesn't seem like a lot of calories compared to how active you are!
I didn't stay on plan Sunday either....but will be back on it today.

I am going to try not have any cheat days because those puts me back in the bad habit of delicious bad for me foods.

Have you considered Atkins, it is diabetic friendly and you will get great results. I had macaroni and tuna salad for dinner.

The doctor said he didnt care what I ate as long as to keep it at 1200. I did atkins many years ago.

@andriaperry This day was pretty heavy in dairy if you don't mind my saying. I just think Atkins works quickly and painlessly.

@andriaperry it takes effort to figure out what works for you. You need energy to do all you do.
I lost 35 pounds with Weight Watchers last year.
Now, I am tired of all that effort of keeping track of my food. I am going to take inspiration from you and get busy.

If you like celery; you can eat all of it you want and still loose weight, but it has to be just the celery with nothing on it. With plain celery; you will burn more calories than what is in the celery.

@andriaperry Celery is supposed to be very healthy for you. Or celery juice. I actually cooked up a bunch of celery and some parsley the other day to freeze as a broth base. I had to, my celery froze in my fridge. I like sharp cheese as a snack.

I am supposed to eat a protein snack before bed according to my previous doctor. I like cheese for that. Or peanut butter, or hummus. I like to make my own hummus so I can season it as I like. You will lose weight on that.

I am not even trying to lose weight but with the kittens here and with the weather being warm and me not too hungry I don't eat as much anyway. Suddenly today I noticed that my tighter fitting nightie is already getting loose and that is good. I will lose some with no effort. I hope you can lose the weight you want and I like your choices of food. I love avocado and I really enjoy all kinds of beans. This summer I will also eat more melons. My dinner was some heated up beans in chili sauce with a small teaspoon of sour cream. The mother cat Oreo took a whiff and ate up the rest. Do you see how it goes here?

you can do it if my sister can lose 150 pounds in a year you can lose what you need to lose she was 500 pounds now she is 350 and still going I am so proud of her for her accomplishments so far,

@andriaperry I understand. I've been following the Noom system since January and have lost 45 lbs. Some days it does get hard to stick with it but wearing a size of jeans that haven't fit since 1990 helps keep me going.

I finally got some much needed sleep. I had cheese steak sandwiches for dinner. I, finally, got to write a small blog post for the Mystic. That was what I needed. And, happy I did get to do some mylotting. After being away for what seemed like forever.

I dont have but 20 pounds to lose and I will look thin and wrinkled up after. He really wants me to see what I am eating to make my blood sugar so high, its one of those doctor manipulation things.
