We're Living in a Bird House!

My wife is complaining because part of the siding on our house has slipped down, allowing birds to get behind it and build a nest. She gets annoyed by hearing chirping all the time. I tell her she ought to be more friendly toward our new tenants, but she just can't see it. She keeps pestering me to get that siding repaired and the birds evicted. But if I do that, I know it'll make me feel like a hard-hearted landlord. On the other hand, those birds haven't paid a cent of their rent, so I guess they can't complain if I do evict them. I'd be in a quandary if it were me. I wouldn't be keen to evict the birds but I'd be wanting to fix the siding.

@RonElFran Maybe get a white noise machine to help with the noise the birds make.

Our old house used to be occupied by very small bats. There were a few holes in the ceiling where they nestled there.
