Rainy Day

We're having a rainy day today. Honestly, I don't mind too much. We've had a few nice warm and sunny days. So, it's nice to have a rainy day to cool things down and water the plants and trees. Sometimes, we do need a bit of a change. I don't mind a rainy day or two, in order to break up the sunny days.

Hopefully, it does rain for you. Now we have some sun, although we did get quite a bit of rain earlier.

I like the rain in the summer, especially when it's really hot. Sometimes it makes it more humid, but sometimes it breaks up the heat. I'm glad it's been cooling things down for you.

It's not too pleasant when it just makes more humid. It did cool things down for us.

It rained overnight here and looked like it would rain some more during the day but it held off so that I could do some more weeding in the driveway (it's big enough for 4 cars, so it's taking me a while).

It was hot and dry here in Florida! I think our rain chances will be increasing each day as the rest of the week goes on.

@dodo19 The heat is not so bad when the humidity is low. We've been really lucky that we've had a lot of low humidity days so far this summer, which is very unusual. Normally, I'd be drenched in sweat within 10 seconds of stepping outside.

A rainy day once in a while is OK, it is when everyday is rainy that it can get on your nerves.

Hahaha it would be nice in the UK to have the opposite. Less rainy days and more sunny days although I am about to eat my words as we are about to go into a heat wave!
