living in a house with 7 people, often damn near literal fights break out over who gets the shower first.
to me,it should be whoever's stinky from work.by all means,PLEASE go first.
but with these hot flashes i get,i RARELY use hot hot water anymore.
more often cool to cold.
so if they empty the tank,i don't care.
the cool is refreshing..even if it usually doesn't last long before another wave of heat comes by and ruins it for me.
i swear i changed my shirt 3 times today.
although i'm still thinking of putting a limiter on the water temp.
these guys with their 20 minute showers..
but that's a topic for another day.

I'm so sorry you're having hot flashes. I went through menopause almost scott-free; so I feel a little guilty -- no hot flashes, no mood swings. I was a little nuts in the head and did some strange things. lololol

my mother did too-as she loves telling me.
my mood swings have gotten better since they put me on estrogen..but it's not doing much for the flashes.they do seem like they're spreading out just a wee bit tho.

@scarlet_woman Well, I hope they go away soon for you! That can't be pleasant at all. How's the weather been in RI? Hot?

I have witnessed one of my colleagues having hot flushes literally in front of my eyes! The poor woman was so badly affected I felt terrible for her. I must say it is only in the last 30 odd years that we hear so much about it. I guess if it happened before women were very discreet about it almost as if it were a taboo subject.I wonder if some older members could verify it.(We are probably too young to know)

@scarlet_woman This poor woman used to sweat profusely you could see visible sweat beads appear all over her face. I think she had hormonal implants which made very little difference. It is terribly unfair on some people. I hope it settles down quickly!

My daughter takes a really long shower. My son does not. I used to take really long ones when I lived at home but on my own in my own home with my kids I try to shorten my showers the best I can. 7 people is a lot in one home. I have two kids here living with me and one bathroom. I hate it I wish I had at least one more toilet.
