Tomorrow will be another full day. Leticia is not coming. She has to go to another doctor. But she says that the doctors finally discovered how to help her aching legs.
Tomorrow I have to go to the doctor and then, for dinner to Dixie´s house. It is Humberto´s birthday.
So now I am making hummus and huancaína sauce to take to Humberto´s. Those will be my contributions. The hummus is already made and is one of the best I have done. Do you make hummus? Do you like it?

I have eaten it in several places and I confess that my hummus is very good as compared to most I´ve had.

It is very easy. I don´t make it with canned chick peas though. I cook my own.

Mine is not bland at all. I add cumin, garlic and plenty of lemon juice.

Yes, I often make hummus, especially now that it is too hot to eat hot food. In the south of France hummus served in Moroccan and Algerian restaurants was delicious. I learnt from them to make it. Hummus means chickpeas (garbanzo) in Arabic, they call the spread "hummus bi-tahini". I always add the sesame paste.
