Face Recognition for My Eon Card

I am happy that I have a new and high tech way of opening my EON card.
I have a new EON card because they replaced my old delapidated one when it got lost.
With my reading glasses or not, i only have to blink my eyes when it prompts me to blink to be able open my EON account on my phone.
Do you have this kind of opening your account online on your phone or you use a password?

My phone opens up through face recognition and all the apps in my my phone uses that technology including PayPal. I have been using face recognition since November 2017.

@SIMPLYD It's automatic. When iPhone X came out in 2017, PayPal also updated their phone app to make face recognition available. I didn't have to do anything. My face is already recorded on my phone and the rest of the apps just use that.

@toniganzon So you mean the face recognition at PayPal is for those using the iPhone?

@SIMPLYD No no password at all it is open. But sometimes people here can put a 4 number password to lock it. No one ever bothers my phone.

Wow that sounds interesting and new to me. I have not seen anything like that in other banks. I do not have an account in Union Bank that is why I am not aware of such feature. BPI App on phone uses the fingerprint technology and you can setup an alarm whenever you set an minimum withdrawal it sends out sms message to your cellphone to inform you that you withdrawn it. It is convenient when your account is compromised and you would always be alerted if your money is taken by someone. But if your account is not compromised it sounds annoying that you keep receiving notification whenever you withdraw from your atm.

Before cellphones are like that. That is why it is easy for anyone to open your phone.
Now, my phone closes after 1 minute of inactivity. I will have to put on my password in order for me to open it.
