I Think it's a personal opinion. I'm not married

I was almost 20 when we had our first child and 26 with our second. We probably should have waited a little longer to start our family, but now I'm glad we're young enough to enjoy our grandkids and even a great grandchild!

This is a very personal decision, but I believe a woman should wait until she can support the child without relying on government assistance or handouts to pay for a place to live and food to feed the child. If she - and her partner if she has one - cannot afford to cover the cost of raising the child they should not have one.

This is such a personal decision and preference. I would warn, that having children at an early age puts you at such a disadvantage. You are not established, you generally do not have much money, and kids take lots of money to care for. Going out with friends can be tough as you have to first keep in mind you have a little one that needs caring for. Lots of things to consider. I was 18 when my first child was born. We struggled to make ends meet. But then too, I'm young enough to enjoy their children and be there to help when needed.
