I found out my mail carrier has decided he does not want to deliver to my house by accident. I was looking on my amazon app for my order and it said it was supposed to be delivered and that an attempt was made (a lie) and that they could not gain access to my door, mailbox or driveway.. all of which was easily accessible.
However, my mailman is afraid of my dogs.. which I have known. but my dogs are NEVER outside in the front, on occasion one might look out the window in the stairwell which is on the side of the house about 15 feet in the air. She is not stupid she is not going to jump out and break a leg.. he is an idiot if he thinks that.
It took me days to get my package.. originally set for last Friday delivery, Saturday, no package. Sunday no mail. Monday I went down to the post office and spoke with his supervisor.. I was assured I would have my package.. she would "TALK TO HIM" Guess what?! no package.. I instead checked on Amazon and saw that he had left the same message.. and I was home. he NEVER tried to deliver.. I am not understanding where he is coming from when he says he can not access my mailbox.. I even showed a video to the supervisor.
So I went down there again on TUESDAY. I had to pick up my package myself and all my mail from the last 3 days prior.
I have made an official complaint tot the POSTAL SERVICE.. who says they will begin an investigation.. and I signed up for Informed Delivery.. It is a service the post office offers that I was unaware of where you can be emailed or check their website of all the mail you should be receiving.. they take pictures of it and send it to you ! my friend told me about it.. I got my first notification today.
OH and when I picked up my mail.. the new complaint from him... not my dogs this time... he says my walkway is blocked...(again a lie) and that there are cats on the porch. that is it.. cats.. he can not deliver because there are cats on the porch!!! this guy needs a new job.. dang millennial snowflakes!!

@wolfgirl569 I have no snow he has tried saying walkway blocked. But it isn't. Then he wrote cats on porch. And forget it if my dogs bark from inside the house.

Talk about a lazy mailman. He does need a different job. I think I'd be writing someone about him.

Ive seen UPS, USPS, ect run off the porch when they hear our dogs bark. Its like they think were going to open the door and say "GET EM!". Gracie would just knock them down and slobber all over them.

If he is a union member, getting rid of him might be hard, but if he is an independent mail delivery contractor, he may be in breach of contract and can be replaced. Either way, he is obviously not fit for the job of delivering the mail. What next, the sun was too hot at your house?
