I've been here most of the afternoon. I got laundry done this morning, first thing. I messaged my son to find out when he would be home and he called me as soon as he was on his way home from work as he works the overnight now at McD's.
I surprised myself in only having one load of laundry as I was doing sheets. I still need to make my bed, and will soon as it's getting close to that hour. Two hours and I will be in bed for the night.
I watched a good movie with my son called Meg. It's about a prehistoric shark that got loose from an area they didn't expect to find anything that prehistoric and all havoc broke loose and of course people died. I really enjoyed it, which surprised me and I didn't freak out like I thought I might with that kind of movie. I've never seen any of the Jaws movies because I didn't think I'd like them. Maybe now, I'll give them a watch if I see them in the lineup anywhere.
I had almost 200 notifications today, and I'm sure with the activity today it was well over that. I'm glad to say they are finished for now and I can get to work on a book and make myself something to eat. I don't know what though as I have nothing out to make. Most likely tuna.
Then it will be working on a book, or since I've been on the computer all afternoon, I might take myself off and watch TV instead.

glad ya got to spend a lil time with yer son'n watch that movie whilst tendin' that laundry. my day 'twas good. i need to get finished here 'n go see if'n any wayward fireworks 've landed'n my pasture/corrals/tops 'f barns'n houses. then i shall be headed to slumberland myself. i've been 'wake nearly 22hrs now 'n my tired 'tis really settin' quick.

@just4him i got 'bout 5hrs, so doin' alright. found some remnants 'f fireworks i picked 'p 'n discarded 'f proper. will be keepin' a watchful eye out though 's some could be hidin'/smolderin' down'n the weeds.

I've had a hellish day, which I posted about. I still have to finish my laundry. I also should be writing but feel like reading. I really have to force myself to write. The kicker is that everything I have to work on is already written, just needs some editing. I hate editing.

We had a very heart-warming day. We drove down to Michigan to my cousin's place. Her daughter, who lives in Florida, was there with her hubby and her kids, grown now, who live in Michigan were all there. It was a nice day and we had a really good visit.

Sharks are not fun. I did see Jaws. I am glad you got your notifications done. Tuna is a good choice. My morning was busy. I walked and picked up a T-shirt I had made and then I left another one and bought some things today. Finally came home to finish the laundry and sit here.

It is Sunday and I also changed and washed my bedsheets. But now it's cloudy. I hope the rain gets delayed till they are dried up. The sun duped me today.
I have more than 200 notifications and I will be attending them when I will watch the cricket match in the evening.

@just4him Yes it was. Though India lost and it was their first loss in the tournament. But since it's comfortably placed in semi finals, it didn't matter.
