Handmade soap fragrances

I've been wanting to try making soap at home for a while now. I've purchased most of the equipment and ingredients needed but I'm still undecied on the fragrance. I use soap not only to wash myself but also to put between rows of shirts etc to make them smell good. Do any of you guys have any suggestion? What's your favourite fragrance for soap?

I am a fan of Jasmine but I also like clean scents like "clean linen". I absolutely loath lavender.

I'm not much of a fan of lavender either, but I like a bit of it in my tea. I love those Yankee candles that smell like a pile of clean clothes. I must buy one soon.

That's interesting, there are indeed some store-bought ones that don't do their job well, yet they smell good.

I don't know what fragrance or perfume to put in a homemade soap. As long as it smells good. As long as it has fragrant.
