I Want To Cry

All of my vegetable plants are lined up against my railing out front. Tonight one of the ladies who lives in the complex stopped by to see me. She uses a scooter to get around. I like this woman and we have great times chatting and all. When she got ready to leave she backed into my pot that has my cherry tomato plants in. When I saw what happened i went running around to get it back into the pot. She did apologize which I highly respected. I just hope the plant makes it. I started this one from seeds and I don't want to lose it. I wanted to cry because I have babied this plant for so long.

This is the only tomato plant that made it this year from seeds. It is looking pretty good so I think it will be ok.

So sorry to hear what happened to them. I think that Tomato plant are hardy plant and they could survive it with tender love and care you give them. Unless the main branch was damage severely then that would be bad.

I hope the plant makes it. I should think it would if you got the roots buried again right away before they had a chance to dry out and the main stem didn't get broken.

I think it will be ok. I got to it fast enough and was able to pick up the plant with a binch of dirt around it and got it into the pot right away. It is standing up straight and has perked up like it was before.

She is a real sweet lady. It's just that I have to have my pots on the walk area coming to my apartment and she does have a pretty big scooter. It has never happened before so I don't know what happened yesterday. The plant is looking pretty good.

Oh dear, what a shame. I hope it responds to your tender, loving care. I look forward to seeing a photo of it with little tomatoes happily blooming at a later date.
