"Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first." - Ernastine Ulmer This is so true! - isn't it? Last evening, we went to a Thai restaurant -"New Thai Bistro" for our dinner. It was exceptionally good. We actually planned to go this place during last weekend, however, we couldn't make it at the last minute. So, we decided to go yesterday. We had a long walk to the restaurant and that was so pleasant as well. We liked the ambience of the place. I liked the "Thai craft" umbrellas that was hanged up at the entrance(as you can see in the picture). That made the place so colorful. The moment we went through the menu card, one thing that caught my eye was the saying - "Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first!". haha! That was a funny one, but it makes more sense. I even relate that to life. Since Life is short and uncertain, we shouldn't postpone our joy. We should get contented with what we have and be happy with that first. We ordered - Banana fried ice cream(we really ordered that first!) - 1 thing was we obeyed what was given in the quote and the other reason was, Mayuri likes that. She doesn't taste any other food. So we'd to get something like this for her. Next, we ordered - Vegetable roll, Fried cheese balls, Green curry with rice. All of them was amazing. I really liked the Green curry which has a great flavor with all those spices and herbs in it. It also had healthy vegetables like egg plant, Zucchini, Green beans in it. It was a treat to my taste buds. It's been sometime since I'd tasted Thai food. I enjoyed the place and the food thoroughly. This apart, I liked their customer service as well. Very good hospitality, fast service and the staffs were so friendly with all smiles. I'm glad that last evening went so fine for me. What are you guys upto? Do you like Thai foods? Which is your favorite dish so far? Have a nice day..!

Yes, I had good experience. Oh, I see. What are the other cuisines that you'd tried(if any). Earlier last week, we also went to Mexican restaurant. That was good too..

Exactly my friend. Waiting for some magic to happen will not work all times. We should enjoy and move on..

Yeah, Dani! That was a good experience. Glad that you like Thai foods too. Yes, one thing that I liked the most in these curries is, they are so organic and healthy. I hope they use coconut milk for the base mixture. That tastes too good as well.

Yes, Shikha! It was a wonderful experience. :-) As you can see from the picture, they will serve the ice cream separately in the middle and they make a fry of banana with some flour and place those in the corner for presenting. I first thought what has fried part to do with a ice cream. But, the logic is here is they serve them as a separate thing.

@Kanubanu It tastes so well. Yeah. Like I said, we had both as separate ones. Ice-cream in middle of the bowl and bananas around. So we can pick one at a time and eat. :-)

You're welcome. :-) Yes, as you'd mentioned, even I liked the decorations. Was impressive enough. =) Haha, yeah. She is a poor eater even at home. I have to really run behind for giving her foods. Yes, your guess is right. We're vegetarians.

Your ice cream sounds delicious. Eating dessert first is much more fun then eating dessert second.
