My eyes are telling me it is time for bed. i didn't get much sleep last night due to all of the fireworks. After everyone decided to quit shooting them off I couldn't get to sleep. I would doze then wake up. Oh well what can I say. It is past midnight and I can't believe I stayed up this late. It has been a long time since I did that. So I am bidding you all a good night and happy myLotting. See you tomorrow.

folks still shot those danged thingies here last eve 'til the thunder 'n lightnin' took their place. so thankful fer the rain! hope ya got'cher slumber figured out. yup, i'm runnin' way 'hind here 't mylot.

I am still listening to those things. I am glad the rain came in for you and stopped your rachet. Don't worry about getting behind. We all have things to do and we will all be here when you have time. I have to watch my granddaughter tomorrow so I don't know how much I will be on here.

@crazyhorseladycx I am glad you didn't have to put up with the noise last night. I only heard one go off and it was a ways away. I love my little munchin to pieces and I think she kinda likes me.

Oh yes its your independence day celebration you had in there. I think fireworks are not that popular in my place when independence day are celebrated. I am quite sure that you had fun in there that's why your body seemed to be energetic still.

@velvet53 We do that fireworks thing on New Year's Day only.... Our independence celebration is celebrated solemnly by the President or Vice President doing the flag raising ceremony.

Yes it was Independence Day. There are fireworks still going off around here. People forget that not every day is something to shoot off fireworks. How do you cdelebrate your Independence Day?

@1hopefulman Confusing. When I went over to my sons house to take care of things the water in the back was coming out full force. I ran and shut it off and I was standing in about 3"of water. Things were fine when I left there yesterday so I don't know what hqappened.

We have fireworks here in August for countless summer festivals. People gather in one place to watch the fireworks display and bring food picnic style.

That sounds like so much fun. I can't understand why people in my country thinks it is so much fun to shoot them off in their own yards. I sat here the other night and watched the fireworks from my living room window.
