I am very curious to know who all has been diagnosed with glaucoma, and at what age? I was diagnosed at 15 years old.

@amitkokiladitya the medication is very expensive and none of the insurance I’ve ever had will cover it. I’ve had multiple surgeries.

@mcl0908 I will find that comment, my dad is on the eye drops, but I do not see anything happening for him, his vision is going. He had the surgery on his eyes, no change.

I’ve had a few minor surgeries and one major, the one I listed in another comment. They had me on eyedrop medication for years but they’re just too expensive. And going to the specialist got too expensive. I have pretty much stopped doing anything about it.

I am really sorry you had this problem so young. I was diagnosed of narrow angle glaucoma in my early 50s.

I have had a few surgeries, one of which they removed my natural eye lenses and replaced them with artificial ones... but I have no peripheral vision at all. Can’t drive.

It’s an eye disease that slowly causes you to lose your sight

@Miss_Leafy how old was he ?

Just happens. Some are born with it in rare cases, but it usually doesn’t happen until you’re much older. It’s rare to get it at a young age.

hii.... i have a ntural tip for glaucoma. first you have to be relaxed as much as you can. couse stress influence on the situation of the disease. another thing that is impotant is the nutrition. try to eat on a daily basis more fruits and vegtables and every day drink carrot juice. be well..

Yes I have heard your health takes a good part in this. I am a smoker and I know if I stopped smoking that would also be beneficial
