What's your view on getting pregnant on an early age? It is undeniably common nowadays within woman especially those teenagers who get so in love. Teenagers often commit this mistakes because of circumstances that they only know about. Maybe because of being drunk or just being simply in love with a guy. Responsibilities is acquired by those teenagers at an early age. They could think less of themselves and their kids must be thier priorities. What is important is that they stand to take care of their child.

Early pregnancies are truly on the rise. Most of this are unplanned and some do not reach birth as they are aborted due to fear of responsibility. People should be made aware of the disadvantages of early preflgnsncies and ways to avoid it.

I agree with you. Also woman nowadays should be educated on the responsibilities and consequences of being a mother because some resort to letting their children on the streets or worse abortion

How early is early by the way? Becoming a parent takes maturity and real deal of responsibility

@cherigucchi Yes it was really not good because the child may suffer since the mother is on her early age and does not know much about life.

There are also health risk in getting pregnant at an early age. Since the body is not yet ready to carry a child there’s usually complications that can happen here and there. Child bearings also harder for young people so they tend to have a much harder Labor pains to deal with.

@ginamel Yeah getting them educated is one way to really tell them that their bodies are too young to carry babies. But for those that are already late I think that they are to be guided and let them be prepared for the responsibilities of being a mom in the making. Let's not judge them for the mistakes they have committed but guide them instead how to become a good mom to their child instead.

@rsa101 yeah i am not judging them though. Actually i was one of them but as for me i got pregnant 21 years old. Not that young. And being a mother was never easy. Its putting the needs of your kid first before yours. My adjustments was to great because I needed to give up the things i used to do.

Yes . Many led to complications that's true. Well it is important to educate these teenagers in order for them to think twice if they plan on doing it.

I was 18 when I became a father, my wife was 15. We both feel that was too early, we had difficulty supporting that first one and it created many issues in our lives. Yet, we loved our daughter and gave everything we had to make certain she would thrive. It was hard and had we to do everything over, we would have waited a couple of years. Yet, neither of us have regrets. (BTW, that daughter is now in her 40's and very successful, and my wife and I celebrate our 47th year together as husband in wife in three months. I think we did some things okay.

@ginamel Well thank you for that. I cannot attest to being mature at 18, else we would have waited instead of rushing into the difficult task of becoming parents. But I have always been willing to accept the responsibilities of my actions.

I don't think early pregnancy is wise as children need a lot of love and care and mature parents.

@Danna the situation between the past and today is real different. The prices of all goods and services is now increased which is making us live difficult for we need to have money to survive. But others survive but some do not.

Depends on how old a young couple is. In different parts of the world, people in different years get children.
