Accepting my Gay Friend

Once I had a friend and from the first look he looks a straight guy. Handsome, Tall, smart, an ideal guy.
However, one day He came to me and confess His true identity. I was literally shocked and I do not know what to say. He said to me that it was difficult because His parents does not want Him to be gay.
As for me, He is my friend so I have to accept Him. Even he is not a straight guy He is still a good and reliable person. Being different should not define our friendship

That's good. Jesus is no respecter of person. He loves everyone. He hates the sins, but love the sinners.

@ginamel yes, you're. The Bible is clear not judge other people for we're not perfect. It's good you accept him as your friend in which he feels comfortable.

@Nakitakona It doesn't matter who he is though because we have years of friendship. Maybe 'Just like feelings, people change' really is true.

@Bulaklak I always think why the church would say that it is against God. Although it is reallywritten on the bible that man is for woman and woman is for man only. However, it is not right to judge them though. The world now is changing. I guess we should adapt to these changes and live with it

The gender of the people he finds attractive does not change the person he is. It is, like the colour of his eyes or the job he does, a part of his identity. If he is a good person then being gay will not change that.

Yeah. As long as he is not harming anyone or committing criminal acts. He should be love because he is a human being after all.

I have a very good instinct when it comes to someone's gender. I can tell when someone is gay or not. I have so many gay friends from the time I was in grade school and until my adult years. I enjoy their company and I love them. What's not to accept?

He is still a human being we all have choices to make in life. Even though we may not agree with the choices of others we can still show love and compassion no matter what.
