I have the day off, so I'm going to take care of some phone and internet "errands," visit a local guitar store just for fun, and then do some hitting and fielding practice at 5 PM with a couple of my softball buddies. No rock band practice tonight. What's on your agenda for today?

@TheHorse This book is about a young man who inherits his grandparents' house on Buzby Beach. His family is one of the "founding families" of the town and the estate is rather large for such a small island. His dad was skipped over by the grands for an incident that led to a haunting of the estate by a young lady. The story is about how the young man, his estranged dad, the dad's new wife, and the young man's girlfriend come together to figure out how to end the haunting. It's a new direction for me but still set at Buzby Beach.

A caregiver first, he had a bad night, I was up till 4:30 am.
I just did the landlady thing and set up another appointment for collection.
Dealing with the legal system, trying to get the D.A. about a case, can talk more about that later.
The grass is growing faster than I can mow it, so mowing this evening.
I need to get more paperwork together.
I also have 2 load of laundry to fold and put away, but its clean!
That`s all, nothing much.

Dealing with legal stuff gives me a pain in the tush. Hell, my lawyer friend told me about a couple of gals who embezzled $400,000 from her client (he is from India and ran a truck stop). The DA in that County was "too busy " to prosecute the case. The crims lost their boats and fancy cars, but are still out there, looking for other people to rip off.

@andriaperry Do people have to answer to the law there when they don't pay rent or otherwise engage in small-scale criminal activity? Here, the courts are so busy, it's hard to "bust" small-scale bad guys. There's a fella who owes me $3,000 for wood restoration work I did for him. He's basically "daring" me to go after him.

@TheHorse My problem had been waiting for the day to come, in jail. But we are small town so nothing like what you know about there.

Well, if you really must know, I dropped off an early morning sample to the lab, then picked up my meds, and the morning was shot. I just puttered around in the afternoon but I did manage to get two of the rusty ol' screws loosened and the 15" long spikes out of the ground. Two more and I can move the dang shed.

@TheHorse They send me emails to read, look at videos and do surveys that range from 25 cents to around 3.75 if they are completed. Cashing out is at $30 dollars.

@TheHorse North Carolina. Everything is expensive and no where pays that well. I think I have worked out a situation though that is affordable for me.

@Janet357 Ah, so you oversee tutors? That sounds cool. I'd like to do some math tutoring for elementary school kids. I have delusions of being able to make math fun. (I was a statistics tutor in college and emphasized math when I was a preschool teacher at age 22--my first "real" job).

My agenda is just the usual for today. A few hours of Executive Time. Lunch. A round of Golf. Dinner. Then Twitter and FOX News. Then off to bed. You know, early to bed, early to rise, blah, blah, blah.

@TheHorse Good luck. He's in a terrible mood.
As for FOX News' points: It boils down to, Long-haired bed-wetting hippie Liberals are ruining everything and need to be stamped out so the outrageous persecution of heterosexual (At least in public), downtrodden, well-to-do, white, male Christians will finally end (They are the only demographic group that's ever been discriminated against, you know, and today, it's worse than ever!).

@TheHorse Yep. The hardest part is cleaning the rack thing (have no idea what it's actually called) that goes on top of the stove top. I have not figured out how to get the grease off of that.

Today is the 11th here in Israel and I have to leave soon and go ask my doctor for something and then go to the dentist office. Doesn't that sound like fun? Well, I am back from the dentist and can say I am still alive. Next time I have to Xrays and that isnot my favorite thing. I saw some old friends today and it was really nice and it was very nice getting out of my apartment. I just wish I could take Sophie with me.

I've been up since yesterday morning and it's now morning again where I live, so I'm not quite sure how to answer. Energy bursts like this rarely come with my chronic illnesses, so I'm taking advantage of it. I've been doing some things in my Facebook account, checking email as usual (I get a lot), studying for school, and yesterday morning, I worked with a company to test some websites for accessibility for blind people like me.

@TheHorse I do. I use screen readers, software on my laptop and phone that reads what's on my screen. It lets me use most apps and websites independently.
