Lightning to the south

I am sitting here and I keep seeing lightning to the south of me. It is really cool cause I am working on the computer and when it flashes I look up. I have no idea if it is raining down there because I don't want to bother my kids. It is pretty though.

I like watching a display of lightning as long as it doesn't do any harm.

@velvet53 I heard that there was a man that was struck by lightning a few times and survived.

Whenever I feel the lightning , my window will be closed lightning disturb and scares me

@psanasangma There are a lot of people who has lived around lightning all their life and they are still afraid of it.

@andriaperry It sure wasn't. I was used to hail and only seen that happen one other time and that was in Iowa where I lived.

Sometimes lightening is not followed by rain. It rains somewhere else.

I always think lightning is so pretty. I love turning off lights and just watching room light up blue. It is also probably the smart thing to do and would be fun if not so deadly. Sometimes when we get a lightning storm you can literally feel electricity in air. One time we had to sit in middle of room because it was so bad. That one was scary. Stay safe.
