My heart hurts

We have been back and forth about going to the reunion this year even after requesting our refunds. So here I am sitting and thinking every time it comes up. My heart just hurts that we are not going or that we my husband doesn’t want to go instead head to the beach to see his best friend and take the kids.
I guess I’ll have to talk to my husband more about let’s just go the two days. I think I’ll feel better if we do vs going to the beach. I don’t get feelings like this that often. I understand my husband is frustrated with his family because they can’t make up there mind about going or not. Someone needs to stay and help out my husbands grandpa which it seems like a few will definitely be here. We are all just waiting.

That would be nice if your husband can reconsider. Maybe attend partial reunion then the beach? Hope it all works out!

We can’t do both they are in totally different places. The reunion is 6 hours away and the beach is 3 hours away.

We have told the kids nothing is set in stone yet so we will decide soon with in the next few days.

It’s his family, I can understand not wanting to go because none of them every speak what they mean. I guess we will figure it all out.

I’m not much of a beach person. But my gut and heart say the reunion yeah it’s a loner driver in a car with three kids sitting next to each other. The beach is closer but my heart and gut keep saying the reunion.
