Lie down and get some sleep

Lying down on the floor to sleep is better than sleeping in a sitting position on a chair. No matter how short your sleep is, if you lie down you feel better when you wake up. If you travel a lot, I suggest you should equip yourselves with sleeping bags, so you can sleep even on a dock. I cannot explain why lying down to sleep is better than just having some sleep while sitting. How was your weekend? I hope it was great. Image from pixabay

If I am tired I will sleep, I remember, I was so sick when I was at work but had to go in. During my lunch, I actually laid under my desk. I had something to lay on , and went to sleep. I couldn't make it to my car, and it worked, I woke up feeling a bit better and able to make it the rest of the day.

@yanzalong If I had a better work chair, I would have slept in it. If tired enough, it won't make a difference to me a bed , recliner, or floor.

Sleeping on chair harms my hands and neck. So i too prefer sleeping on bed.

I've experienced both positions: lying down and sitting.

When sleeping in lying down, your whole body is relaxing. There's no pressure. Unlike when you sleep sitting, your whole body isn't in a relax position.

Cannot agree more. Without a shadow of a doubt, we feel more at ease when our bodies are fully relaxed . Lying down relaxes most of our body and is thus the best sleeping position ever. However, not at all times, we are lucky to sleep, lying down especially while traveling on a bus/train. Carrying sleeping bags during travels may not always work out. However, those are valid points and agree with you.Thanks..
