What is the Scariest Movie you have Watched Ever?

So I was in youtube earlier and found out about the trailer of It Chapter 2. I finally start making a brigade of searches of the first chapter of the movie, some villain origins and finally Stephen King and his biography. The guy actually amazes me, he is so brilliant at his works, horror films which I rarely watch nowadays but I have a few list of movies I have watched before and when I remember a few of them, kinda gives me a nightmare-ish thing still. I cannot recall when was the last time I last watched a horror film and I am mostly stuck on trailers. I find it hard to watch these kind of films when I am alone, hell I would not watch any when I am alone. I think the last one I watched is a horror sci fi mixed titled Pandorum. Some do not find it creepy but I find it a lot especially those exorcism type of horror movies.

@sophie09 I guess because it is a true story and the first one looks more real than the second one.

@Jlyn10 Yes. Well it was the last straw. I was feeling anxious before I watched it. I turned on the TV and saw a movie about young girls and boys having fun on a boat. I thought it would made me feel better. But then it turned out to be a gruesome one. I wasnt able to sleep since then. My anxiety worsened. Days later I'm at a hospital lol.

Scary movies that are just so far fetched does not really scare me. Now those that could really happen give me the creeps. Take the original "When a Stranger Calls" movie for example, I could see were that could really happen, a killer is upstairs and calls you and ask "Have you checked on the children yet?" The part the really creeped me out was when the killer came back years later and shes in bed looking at the closet thinking that her husband is beside her, only it was the killer laying there covered up.When he sat up, I think I jumped a mile. lol I watched that by myself, when it was over, I ran and got in bed with my husband!! lol

It won't be creepy if you have already set your mind to think that it is only a movie. Works for me cause I like watching horror movies.

I heard that back in the 80's whoever watched the Exorcist movie alone in a cinema hall would receive a prize.
