I was defeated in my second battle in bank

I was in DBP whole morning this day. With me other teachers complainants of the over payment by bank per se. It was a long battle, yet defeated. The bank was so firmed that they made over payment to almost 34 employees in the university where I am teaching. They insisted that they made error in the release making the deposits submitted by the finance officer double.I've shown to them my pay slips, DTR and from the HR office, regardless, they denied my proofs. We left without signing the compromise agreement re: auto deduct during pay day.
. I better move on for it's almost August 5 the first day of class .I may charge it to experience.Hoping it won't happen again, so annoying and time consuming. Thank you friends.Take care all

@LadyDuck , we learned here in the city that not only from the university teachers overpaid, but there are also other offices like Social Security System's employees and other schools. This bank should be investigated by The Commission on Audit. It seems there is something fishy.

@LadyDuck, more than, my young co teacher sobbed for the bank charged her almost double. When she received her summer class pay, she realized from 6,345 to 9,785 . How come like that. I believe mine will be the same . I haven't signed the compromise agreement.

There will come a day when they cease to have so much control over everyone.

@SIMPLYD , they informed all so late month of May and the withdrawal was April 18 bank said. I never had noticed excess of money in my ATM. Bank said error was made that led them to overpay the teachers, but how come all have uniform overpayment, P6, 345 pesos? They do not care to listen.

It's about time to take this to the court. They can't just insist that they have made an overpayment and you have your proof with you. Better consult a lawyer.

@cacay1 I hope that it will be taken care of so that the bank will not take advantage of others in the future. Just take it easy for now.

@cherriefic , we have lawyers in the university. They already take action by writing to COA to audit the bank since that bank is a government owned bank and our university is also a university owned university. We just wait for the result of the Audit.Thank you.

@brokenbee , I will suggest that to the body. This time other offices the SSS , victims of error reported the case to COA and soon they will be investigated and audited. I hope they will return the money to those who already signed and have the deduction done. I did not sign the agreement of auto deduct my salary. My account there is still on hold.

@DianneN , you are right, the bank will be investigated by the Commission on Audit. Somebody in the university called the office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines , President Duterte thru hotline direct to the office of the president 8888. The president lambasted the bank. I and my co-teachers are waiting for the result. It was learned that it's not only our schools' employees victim of over payment per se, but many. Many claimed to this bank. I am also happy that your son has a broad mind to accept a failed marriage. It's life and destiny , destiny if only seen ahead would not be put to dismay.

@thelme55 , no I cannot change that is the bank where our salaries in the university are deposited . I was alrrady deducted with interest. I submitted my DTR to finance officer because I haven't paid for 4 months because of that non submission of DTR, plus there is cut off because August 5 is the first day of classes. I just cry in vain. From 6, 345 pesos overpaid becomes 9, 456
, so unfair, cheater.

@marlina, it should not happen again or else, that bank will be closed. It's not only our school affected with their error, there others in the city. They are the one making the move to have that bank be investigated by The Commission on Audit ( COA).

so, the finance officer put'n the deposits twice? if'n so, ya should've record 'f such via yer bank statements fer that time period. if'n that'd be the case, then the bank's correct, they credited too much to yer account. surely y'all would'a noticed the 'xtra pay 'n questioned such?
if'n there'd be no error 's they 'nsist, perhaps 'tis time to go o'er yer local banks head 'n seek assistance from their corporate office?

@cacay1 i reckon i'm confusin' the heck out'ta 'n yer doin' the same to me, hon. if ya've the records with what yer pay should've been 'n a bank statement provin' that 'twas all that got credited to yer account, i jest don't get the troubles? either the bank'd be'n err, 'r y'all's deposit from yer job got credited twice'n once the error 'twas recognized, the bank wants those funds back.

@crazyhorseladycx , the lawyer in school already sent a letter to the Commission on Audit to investigate the matter and to audit the bank. It would take three months to wait for the result. I hope COA settles the fraud.

@crazyhorseladycx , no my friend, the finance officer in school did not do the double deposit. It was the bank who made the error. There was no excess of money during our last withdrawal. It does not jive with the pay slip and receit during the last withdrawal in April 18.
