Trust - Forgive/Forget?

Trust is hard earned, easily lost and nearly impossible to regain.
How true this is! It can be tough with some people to gain their trust. If you violate that trust and are forgiven, things most likely will never be the same.
I forgive; but I don't forget. Do you feel that way?

I can forgive and forget something but I cannot keep being friends with someone who has shown me that I cannot trust them.

It really is true. We can forgive, but it's hard to forget. I'm so thankful God forgives and forgets my sins.

I thank God for the forgiveness He offers and I try hard to do the same-but of course not always successful at it. I know holding unforgiveness is saying we deserve forgiveness from God but others don't deserve the same and thats not the truth.

I do forgive, then I forget that person because I won`t be around them anymore.

I think that is very true! And I agree that if it happens things wouldn't be the same again....or it would take a while at least.
