Nude Man Purchases Coffee

United States
July 20, 2019 3:33pm CST
Earlier this week our little town got an eyeful. An out of towner came to visit. We embrace our tourists, but this one wore no clothes. He entered a local café/gift shop and purchased a coffee and asked of places where he could go swimming. At one point he tried to enter a local eatery and they locked the door as they saw him leave his car and head toward the door. Public nudity isn't a crime in our state. So therefore he broke no laws. However, after tracking him down at one of our motels, he was told that he was making people feel uncomfortable. He chose to leave our little town. Tongues are still wagging over this one. Probably will for some time to come. What would you do if you encountered someone who was walking in public nude?

I'd probably feel a bit uncomfortable. So, I'd probably chose to go elsewhere, but that's just me. There's nothing wrong with it, but it doesn't mean I necessarily want to see it.

We do not live in a town where clothing is optional. Surprises us totally whenever something like this takes place. We have had our fair share of college students streaking or doing it as a prank. This was an adult, from out of town, just walking around like it was something he does every day.

It is illegal in most places, but I guess there is no ordinance on the books regarding this here.

Many did report it and the police tracked him down at a local motel and told him that it was making people feel uncomfortable. He left town.

He chose Main Street to walk about. Shaking my head on that one. Clearly wanted to draw attention to himself.

@DianneN I've been thinking that moving to a different state may not be a bad idea. Hubby keeps looking into land in other areas and I have been brushing it off.

@ElusiveButterfly I can see why it would make people feel uncomfortable. There are places where he can be with no clothes on but outside he should wear clothes.

We are a small town and if someone wanted to draw attention to themselves, this is the place to do it. He stood out like a sore thumb.

Oh Lord Jesus I would have had a fit whether it is legal or not it is obvious that this man has no respect for himself or others around him. No one wants to see anyone with no clothes on I do not even like looking at myself without any clothes on so I know that I do not want to see anyone else like that. That mans sounds like He knew nothing would be done to Him so He said to heck with it I am going to do it anyway because I know I can get away with it.
