Hi Everyone, Is there any YouTube clever clogs out there? My kids are forever telling me that they are going to be the next YouTube sensation. I’m sure my children are not the only ones out there that thinks this. Anyway, I’ve decided that I’m going to try and do a vlog, and put it on YouTube to show them how hard it is to make any money on there. Trouble is, they see vloggers like the sidemen, dam tdm and jake to make a few and they think that they can do the same in no time. My problem is I don’t really understand YouTube, do you have to try and get a load of views or is it something to do with subscribers. I am totally clueless, but I’ve got to try and sound quite savvy when I show the boys.

I can see that @raveeen summed it up well. Youtube is a saturated platform now,and it takes a hell lot of effort and creativity to even earn a meagre sum.

Yea, if you really want to be a youtuber you really have to put more effort and patience.

@kepweng For now, no. But I really want to be, I want to upload dance covers hehe. I've knew all of that because I've done some research and watched others vlog about becoming a beginner as a vloger.
