What's wrong with the change of sex and ethnicity in movies and series?

I think that the film industry is making forced inclusions and changing gender, even changing the ethnicity of the character's origin, taking away its essence as we know it, these cases as the gender change of the 007 agent of man (as we have always known) a woman the change of ethnic race of the little mermaid in the movie live action of the same name, of redhead (in Disney animated movie) to be performed by an African-American girl. These cases have caused controversy and a strong rejection by the fans. What do you think about this case?

I think I get where you are coming from but I also get the side of the movie producers. It’s the pressure from society of course and political correctness. I think instead of deliberately changing the characters as we know it, they should focus on producing films of different heritage and hero characteristics. At least people won’t be outraged or feel like their favourite character has been desecrated.

Exactly! There are even characters that change their gender or ethnicity are taking away everything, what would happen in the black panther movie would have put a Caucasian actor?

@joelospedales Yeah that would be wrong. They should stick to how the writers depict these characters. Because of course the public would have preconceived pictures in their minds already. Social inclusion could be done in a better manner. And that is, creating films from various sources and making them famous and well known like our age old classics. Not tear down a classic in an attempt to please society.

Inclusion can work in the cinema but in a not so forced way

@joelospedales I think that that is another kind of racism The little mermaid was written by a Danish author and I´m sure he never thought about a mermaid that did not look very Dane. The change in ethnicity is very typical of what is now happening in the US as to what is politically correct more than what is essentially correct.

Everything is a constant change "not to harm" but the essence of reality is another, for me it is simple ... MUST LEAVE THE THINGS BEFORE BACK AND continue WITH THE MODERN, if the little mermaid is 30 years being "Danes" leave her being danes
