when my best friend was hospitalised, i visited her everyday for the whole day to keep her company, coz i know being alone in hospital isnt a good idea. and i also made her fresh juices for her to drink to boost up her mineral and vitamins. and most importantly, im so worried for her, so the best way is to by her side to take care of her. though i didnt help much. and, it's just a one week away for our preliminary exams, so i bring my books along ans study while she's sleeping. despite of that, i got good result for my exams((:

I secured a job of attender for a boy whose family was in severe problem, without 2 square meals. I got him admitted into evening college, so that after office hours he could study. Later I trained in accounts department and taught him working knowledge of the computer. I got him a vehicle by collecting contribution from other colleagues so that he could go to college, from there reach home and from there come to office next day. On a bicycle he used to travel 40 kms per day. I left the job in search of greener pasture and he continued in the same office and other day he telephoned that he is graduated, he is incharge of the accounts and and he is also computer operator. He is fully incharge of the office. This news was gladdening to me.
Every time, I think of helping atleast one person at a time and you will have a lot of peace.

when I lived in Victoria I would drive around downtown pick up and take homeless people to the shelters, doctors appoinments, out for meals. On holidays I would make up a couple hundred meals and take them downtown and give them out to the people who couldn't find shelter that night. I don't give money because I don't wnat the money spent on things that are bad for them. I also volunteered at 2 riding centers for the disabled 4 days a week.

Umm.. Visiting orphan home every Christmas and helping the workers, playing wit the kids and give money..
Ohh!! During FIFA Worldcup days, my friend's younger brother got sick and fell unconscious, i stayed wit them for the whole day and whole night in the hospital, and spent all the money i have, and pray wit them as both of them are so lonely. Far away from home in pursuing of better studies, sometimes its tough.. :D.
But wat r frens for?

When a friend of mine husband was in the hospital with cancer, I sat with her during the day and stayed with him to give her much needed breaks. I arranged a group of women and we went to her apartment and cleaned it for her. I also give my change to the beggars on the street when I have any.

i give milk and sometimes food to the stray cats that always seem to hover around in our garden,we have this ginger tom cat that always comes to the back door meiowing and padding its feet,we never now what it wants so we just give it milk and sometimes a bit of food and that seems to make it happy for a few weeks then he'll come back again.

I really and truly can't answer this question. I don't keep up with the kind things I do for others. I try to be kind and do kind things for others every day of my life.

I would always make sure I brought a car big enough that if people needed rides I could help them out.

I don't know. I used to give my last dollars to my friends who didn't have lunch money in high school. Then I would have to call my mom to come pick me up because I didn't have bus fare. And since I only got so much money a week for lunch I usually didn't get anything myself the next day.

Too many to recall LOL. What stands out in my mind is the time I gave my mom a dollar to buy herself underwear after my fathers tore all of hers to pieces - he didn't need the dollar. Little robin hood would have been in deep trouble if mom had found out where she got the dollar from!
