Life after death

I have researched a lot in this, and it intrigues me to think that we are not going anywhere anymore, that we only die and that's it.
But I think that I have not investigated enough and heard that we can reincarnate, in a beyond, that we become astral beings and now I wonder, will all this be true?

Don't forget what the Bible says that there is going to be a resurrection.

@innertalks At this time we are just little babies as far as knowledge is concerned. We will know more and understand better after a few million years but we will never understand all there is to know and that is what will make life exciting.

Yes, different religions have different ideas.
All I really know is that for now, I am alive, and if I am alive now in this form, whatever gives me life must be a part of the overall oneness of it all, or of God. If my life really ended totally, so would God, as everything is a part of him, and so no part of him can be destroyed.
If I am a part of God, or a part of God is in me being me, this part must continue, if God is real too.
Otherwise, nothing is real, and this is not true, because we see what we see, something is real, this realness to my mind is God. He allows us to be real too, because we can become conscious of this, and of ourselves within God's kingdom.

The Creation: Genesis chapter 1, verses 1, 2, and 3.
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering ove the surface of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.…"
Is everything a part of God then, or just a part of his creation, and so God, in some way, also still exists apart from his creation?
I would speculate that God was nothing but himself, and then he imagined with his word, life, and he created a world for it, this life, to inhabit.
Whether this exists within him is a mute point, because God created, and so it exists, externally created to himself in one way, but in another way, it extended God to include his creation as a part of himself too, and yet his spirit floats over all, still distinct from all, and yet permeating all too.
In other words, God, has/makes his cake, and God eats it too.
