My Unofficial Officially Cat Person

After years of planning and dreaming, my human mother finally decided to have me in her family. I am HIDEKI, my name sounds cool for me. It suits my ninja-like manner. So I´m giving my mom a 5 stars for that I have to admit that it is still a struggle to deal with a ¨used to be dog person¨ like her. She´s a slow learner but I have a strong cat-feeling that this human can learn eventually. After giving birth to my big brother my mom somehow develop an allergic reaction to dogs fur. I share my little space with my human brother and 2 dog cousins. My dog cousins were lucky that I am not allergic to them. After undergoing my two months training with my biological mother on ¨HOW TO DEAL WITH HUMANS¨, I finally graduated with flying colours and was very much ready to finally meet them. Their reaction when I first saw them were kind of the same with dogs, they were all kisses and jumpy. My mom was the weirdest, she loves brushing my fur every freekin day. She doesn´t understand that I can handle that all by myself. I love spending time watching them, or let us say observing each and everyone of them. I am like a ninja, I give my mom that look that says, ¨I´m watching you human¨. I thought the look was enough to warn her with her crazy ideas of what she called, ¨keeping me neat¨. One day she was acting really but really weird, she was all smiling and her sweetness was beyond doubtful as she lovingly grabbed me. There were two round plastic basins, one with water and the other one was empty. I was like ¨what is going on?!¨. And guess what she calls it, she calls it, ¨bath time¨. Did anyone forgot to tell her that she got a cat for a fur baby and not a dog? She still got a lot to learn. Well at least she is not trying to kill me. She´s weird but I love her so as my big brother. One day she´ll be an officially a cat lady. Oh, I took a picture of myself for you guys, I hate pictures but my mom said that I look great, so here you are. Until next time guys!

@erinmiles Something caught my attention while reading this. I am wondering if my Sophie because she does not like me brushing her thinks that is her job but she does not always get to certain spots. I love this post. People do give their cats a bath I think. I never did.

I gave mine a bath to keep his fur that clean feeling, because he gets into things that makes his fur feel all dusty. Plus my fluffy guy gets things on his fur too like food. He loves getting his fur brushed everyday. We are still working on the bath thing. I feel the same way too when I try to keep him clean, I feel like he doesn't need me to do all of these

@Hannihar I've watched YouTube tutorials on how to do it because I have zero experience with cats

@erinmiles You are lucky. My cat does not like being brushed and she would never let me give her a bath.
