Lion King (live action)

Since it was very hot at the beach this weekend once of the places we end up at was the movie theater. We took the kids to see the live action Lion King it came out not to long ago. The kids know the original animation movie made by Disney and we fingered it would be one we all could agree on and had lot of start times.
The older two loved it! Our littlest fell asleep half way through the movie which is okay. He was asking to go back to the house but I kept telling him after the movie and fell asleep while I’ve as holding him.
It was good no spoilers there was a few new jokes that me and my husband totally got.

Sounds like everyone had a good time. Little ones usually fall asleep if the movie is too long for them.

It wasn’t that long. We had done a museum and done a lot of walking he is 4 and doesn’t nap typically any more. This kid could go through a 3 hour movie if he wants to.

Yes the original was actually vhs then went to dvd when DVD’s became popular.

@Hannihar we have a dvd copy back when my and my husband saw it when little we had it on vhs
