"Just trust God". It is a statement we hear often, yet sometimes how to believe. When our world is spinning out of control, when we are perplexed and burdened, and when we see no solutions; it can be hard to simply trust God. We are a people who need to see results and understand the plan. This phrase has also become so overused that it has lost some meaning.
However, there is still much truth and power in the statement, "trust God". I am re-learning this truth. I think you just have to get tired of struggling and give up and give the situation to God. My daughter and I have talked about this a good bit lately. I am to the point, I am just gonna choose to trust Him.
How about you? How have you learned to trust God?

To trust in God is to be totally sure that you will receive what you expect. It is to be convinced that something exists, even if it cannot be seen.

It is easy to trust when we understand but harder when we don't understand. When we trust God, we may have pain for a while but it will eventually work out well for us because He knows what He is doing even when we don't.

Trusting God is daily, sometimes hourly, and minute by minute. It's not a one time deal, but all the time. Learning to trust Him and doing it is a lifetime effort.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (KJV)

"I am the God of love, and all who trust in me and obey my commandments will see me in themselves," said God.
This means that we contact God through trust, and loving him, because this recreates him, so to speak, in our self, and we can trust that what we feel, know, and love.

That trust is a matter of free will, means one has a choice to make: to trust or not to trust. This is all good. However, perhaps trust in God is not a matter of free will, that is why it is so difficult. Maybe it is not a Choice that one can make, but a Grace that one can pray for. Therefore, blessed are those who have already received grace for they have no choice but to trust God.
