I'm not much of a baseball fan...

..but as a foreigner living in another country, I have to experience a live game of baseball because. The stadium was massive and it was my first time to see one. Come to think of it, we probably don’t have a baseball stadium in my hometown. But we have a lot of basketball courts, big and small. Anyway, it was quite an experience. What’s interesting is that fans are segregated by teams and you can’t wear the opposing team’s colors in a designated fan area. So most people in my ‘area’ were wearing the blue and green jersey of the Yakult Swallows while across from us was a sea of yellow-wearing Hanshin Tigers supporters. Neat, right? Fans could cheer in unison and were doing high fives even with complete strangers whenever the team made a score. There was a friendly atmosphere going while drinking beers and eating finger foods. No booing, no trash left after the game and no stampede on the way out. Incredible first time for me.
What about you? Have you ever been to a baseball game?

@crazyhorseladycx true. I’ve been to basketball games where fans fought and litters of trash were left behind. Not good.

I used to go to baseball games all the time. I lived very near the stadium where the Florida Marlins play (they're now called the Miami Marlins), so my wife and I would got to many games each season. Also, my favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees, so anytime I'm in New York City I try to catch a Yankees game. Baseball is such a fun and relaxing sport to watch. I even played on a baseball team as a child!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game. The only games I've attended were local non-professional games.
