Want to say something but no words come out

I've had this happen to me many times where I want to say something but the words just don't come out.
Perhaps it's because I am afraid of people's reaction or think they will judge me or make fun of me or that they may say no or get upset...
I hate when this happens, especially when what I want to say is important. I should be able to say anything that is on my mind with no issues and without worrying about what will happen after I say what I want to say. And yet that is not the case.
I am going through this right now where I want to remind hubby we have a few concerts coming up soon in August and yet every time I try the words just don't come out. It's stupid I know. It should not be a big deal. It's not like it's some life shattering news that I should be hesitant about bringing out into the open.

@raveeen I feel you. I told myself yesterday that this is it I will tell him about the concerts but no words came out. Now I am telling myself today is the day! It better be... This is ridiculous.

@lovebuglena There's a time I want to say something to my friend/boyrfriend but I don't know what should I say or I can't say something because there're no words coming out. So what I'm just doing is just listen to them and thinking about the words that I want to say but it can't come out.

I don't know how to improve your speaking. I suggest having a consultation with a specialist.

What kind of specialist are you talking about?

Something like concert dates should not be a problem. You have to start speaking up to him!

I know! It should be no big deal. And yet the words are not coming out. There is still time to tell him... I hope it happens sooner rather than later. Saying it last minute is not good.

@LindaOHio Good idea. I was thinking of maybe taking them out and then trying to tell him.

@lovebuglena Show him the tickets. Then you won't have to introduce the subject. Or leave them out where he can see them.

Behind that confession there may be fear or worry or just this tense and stressed, just Relax for a while.

I have to just stop thinking about it in my head and let it out.

Why are you afraid or hesitant to tell your hubby about the concert? There's nothing to be afraid of.

Well, I think it's because one of them is on a day that he works and he will have to leave work early to go and he may not want to do that.
