A friend of mine told me that he's been suffering from sleep apnea over the past 2 months. He's fine when he goes to bed, but the moment he starts to get sleep, his breathing gets interrupted and it goes to normal as soon as he comes to conscious. There are several episodes on each night that he suffers it from. Any reasons as to why this is happening and how to stop this?

it can be very dangerous-or fatal.
there's a lot of reasons you can get apnea but mostly constricted airways.
he needs to get a CPAP machine to help him breathe while sleeping.

I think your friend should consult the doctor to get relieved from this pain.
