Anxiety Attacks

Years ago, I went to a youth club in my old home town.
One day when I went, there were a ton of people.
I had a massive anxiety attack, it was so bad, I had to have my little sister drive me home.
Anyone else have anxiety attacks if you're dealing w/lots of people?
How do you cope? These days, I avoid crowds as much as I can.

I have never had an actual panic attack, but I have had a few instances where I will be in a crowded store shopping and almost feel like I have to get out of there, like I can't take it anymore. I wonder if there is a scientific name for "an almost panic attack"?

That's a good question, regarding the almost panic attack.
Strangely enough, some people say anxiety/panic attacks aren't real.
I think more people experience them than will ever admit it, they are essentially an extreme stress response.
Some people I guess figure "I can't physically see the problem, it must not exist" but that's just nonsense.
Some issues are mental and emotional, and so therefore not always obvious, but that doesn't make them non-existent.

I have panic attacks a lot when it comes to people or crowds i guess because of my social anxiety so my husband will do the shopping and stuff as much as he can to help me not have to and days i do have to i usually stay up til about 6 am and run to the store right as it opens so theres not many people
