My 4 year old asked me for hot chocolate colds so if course I say back to him. You mean chocolate milk. Nope, no. He insisted that he wanted to have hot chocolate cold.
So I go to the kitchen, I take the milk he hasn’t fished yet that is still good and put some chocolate powder in it. I stir it and tell him it’s hot chocolate cold.

@Hannihar thanks! After 8 year of mommy I’m a lot better at with my 4 year old. I’ve learned when to bit my fights and not. It wasn’t worth trying to tell he was wrong instead just gave it to him and let him think what he wanted.

He asked me if it was hot chocolate cold and I told him yes so he would drink it.

@ShyBear88 So he felt for your trick?
I remember growing up that my dad would insist that my mom buy only name-brand products, because the store-brand ones were of lesser quality. For many years, my mom would buy the generic stuff and put them in the boxes/containers of name-brand products to trick my dad. He never knew the difference in all those years!

That is a good one. Kids are so cute. I remember a kid not wanting to drink milk out in the country because his milk always came from a bottle, not a cow.

It’s not actually hot chocolate code. It’s just regular chocolate milk heated up you can do that to if your lazy and what hot chocolate but don’t have coco just take chocolate milk and warm it.

He calls pretty much all chocolate milk hot chocolate. I don’t know why he knows there is a difference but essential he wanted cold chocolate milk he just went around a bit way of asking for it. My middle one use to do that with cinnamon toast and totally got my mom confused. He would ask for French toast and he wanted cinnamon bread toasted.
