i think when i text someone and and they take too long time to reply, yep i will be mad or upset, especially if they are the one who is usually fast at replying our text. well actually it depends on who this person is. if he is my boyfriend or crush / she is my best friend of course i will be upset and curious what makes them take so long to just reply a text from me. but if the person is just a person that i know, i think i dont care if they will reply or just ignore my text.

Yes, I will be upset but later I become amendable when I received a text back explaining the delay.

@sophie09 Thus, they should be given time to know their side. A hasty judgment is not good. It creates more harm than good.

If the matter is urgent and I don't get any reply at once I would call the person. There could be a lot of reasons why they cannot reply at once, they could be out of the coverage, they might have not their phone with them or they have no load to reply.

It depending on the type of phone they have they may not be able to distinguish each notification.

If I am waiting for an important answer I might get impatient, but in most cases I am okay with a late reply. My best friend works in an area where his cell phone doesn't work every well, and I know that he will answer when he goes back to his home.

@sophie09 Yes, that is the best thing to do in that situation. Sometimes it is easier to call anyway. Some things are too complicated to write in a short text message

I don't have my phone with me constantly and neither does my husband or children. And lots of people I know don't access they're personal phones while at work. I never expect immediate responses.

It depends to a person, usually if she/he is not so close to me or if he/she is just my friend.. I don't care how long he/she will reply, who matters to me is my boyfriend, Ofc I might think everything like why is he so late, what took him so long etc., But you know in real life I'm the one who is really late to reply

haha same like me, i dont really care if they are just my friend and they dont reply my text immedietly, but if this person is my boyfriend, i think i might be curious what he is doing now/

I won't get offended but rather wonder why they don't response on time. If it is text message, I would understand maybe they don't prepaid balance. If it is messenger, they don't have excuse because messenger is free from Smart and Globe.

My girlfriend does that sometimes to annoy me, but that doesn't bother me. She wants me to miss her and text her back immediately. But I never don't. Poor Denise...

i don't care how much time people take to respond on my messages. i guess there is something more important to them at that moment than responding to my message and that's okay.

That is a normal feeling my dear, we re just humans provided with mixed emotions. Me too feel upset if my important text messages not replied. There are times, I deleted their numbers, no use to stay and keep in my mobile phone.

@sophie09 Yes and no. Like you, if it's someone I am really wanting to hear from, and they take a long time to reply, I do wonder if everything is ok. But I also know that texting isn't the only thing in life. So I will just think they will reply back when they can and maybe they haven't even seen the message yet.
If I can see that my message has been seen by them and it takes them a long time to get back to me and it happens a lot then yes I will start to get mad.
