Just Returned...

United States
July 28, 2019 7:38pm CST
We returned yesterday from an amazing trip! We visited Puerto Rico, Haiti, St. Maarten/St. Martin, and Bermuda. Wow! We met amazing people both on the cruise and at each port. I think what struck me most was how welcoming people were at each port and despite some very difficult stuff (hurricane wreckage, civil unrest, etc...) the natives of each island were so proud to show off their culture and their land. I believe we take some things for granted here in the United States and every time I travel, it reminds me there are people in our world so humble and gracious that can teach me many things. I'm going to try to be better about being around Mylot more and hope everyone is doing well!

Relating with people from other places here has helped me a lot in many ways. I have always lived a sheltered life and it is important not to take it for granted.

Except Bermuda I have visited the other three Islands. I love St.Maarten/Saint Martin, it's a friendly Island.
