Is luck against religious beliefs? I mean the Christians specifically

July 28, 2019 9:24pm CST
I ask myself this question since on Friday of last week I was going to travel to a friend's wedding when my car was damaged, due to the situation in the country where I live I did not have cash to travel with my girlfriend in bus, therefore could not go. On Thursday while I was at the barbershop I heard the barber talking about playing a lottery where you win 1x30 according to your bets. I said well if I win if I don't, use the famous phrase "whatever God wants" (I'm not playing lotteries). In the afternoon it turned out that "I WON WONED ... !!!" I said thank God and we went to the wedding and had a great time. The next day I told him what happened to my girlfriend and he told me that luck was not from God. Should I thank God for it or not? Is it God's luck? Does he use it on certain occasions? Please tell me if your answer was based on reading the bible or your own experiences

Many people say that the money obtained from gambling is badly had and therefore is rejected by God. Personally I do not believe, we are clear that what happens is because God allows it, so if you win something through the lottery game, it is because he has approved it.

Lottery is not permitted. It's against the law and religion doesn't allow it to be played either. I cannot say much on this yet.

Friend I think that against the law depends on the country where you live. On the other hand it is good to know your opinion about the religious part. regards

Yes, you were meant to go to that wedding. For some reason it was important for you to be there. On the other hand, I would not count on winning any lottery. The odds are always terrible. This was not a case of luck.
