@sophie09 I have no idea as to what an ideal height should be.I'm 1.75 meters ( 5 feet 9 inches ) tall and am fully satisfied with it.

@sophie09 I really don't know to be honest. I am sure you can find this sort of information online though or with a dietitian. I am sure you'd be able to find out your BMI ( Body Mass Index ) online. You just type in your height and weight and maybe a few other things I'm not sure, and it will calculate what weight is right for you.

There is a calculation as regard to ideal or not, I think.

I tell people I am not overweight, I am undertall. This is a hard sell for me as I am 6'3"/190cm tall. To be tall enough for my weight, I would need to be 7'5"/226cm. According to the National Institute of Health, I need to lose about 62 pounds/28 kilos.

I can only reinforce what Amedu says. There are certainly weights that are unhealthy - obese or skeletal - but there is a huge range of weights that are perfectly OK. People sometimes get far too worried about their weight and do silly things that can cause them considerable damage.

There is nothing ideal in the world... We all are flawed and will always be...

Your stats make me imagine a petite female. I'd say youre fine, however, we'd have to see you first. Above all, i think the way you feel is what matters most. I'll give you an example, Mike Tyson was a heavyweight boxer even though he is short. There are many taller men who are not heavyweight. This implies that while they are taller than Mike Tyson, Mike Tyson has a wider skeleton and area wise, he can house more muscle and hence more weight. So you see, there are many factors to consider. In the end though, how you feel is what matters most.
