An 8-year-old boy was run over by a train and killed at Frankfurt's main station on Monday after a man pushed him and his mother onto the tracks, German police said.
The mother and then the boy were pushed onto the tracks as a high-speed ICE train was pulling into the station, one of Germany's busiest. The mother was able to escape but the boy was hit and run over by the train and suffered fatal injuries.
People have lost their mind in the world today. Many just do not care. Sorry such a sad story but I am still shaking me head when I read this.
German police say a child has died after apparently being pushed onto the tracks in front of a train at Frankfurt's main station.

@CarolDM This is so upsetting and disgusting that some maniac did this! I am feeling so awful for the mother and little boy. I don't even know what to say. Just so awful.

@CarolDM I don't blame you for feeling hesitant on sharing this. It is sad but at the same time, it gives us a moment to realise what is going on in the world and sometimes can make us feel grateful for what we have. I guess it can also teach us how to be more alert these days. I personally now don't want to ever stand close to a train track. Would rather stand way back in case some nut-job wants to push me out there.

@VivaLaDani13 I hope it has helped you and others to be more cautious. Too bad we have to always be looking over our shoulders.

@CarolDM The news are filled with sad stories :-/
This is a bit special though, it seems so totally pointless to push total strangers in front of a train. He had tried to push a third person, but she resisted. It seems like they were just picked randomly

And I thought the majority of kooks and nutcases were here. What a mind that could do something like that!

Mother ran away.... I wonder what happened? What are the motives of the man who pushed them onto the tracks?

If it's really sad friend, and you just can't let go of something like that, what would be going through the twisted mind of someone like that? I hope that in his defense he will not be released simply by some silly technicality of his lawyer, such people should not circulate freely with society
