¿Do you consider abortion a punishable act or not?

Today the issue of abortion has been quite controversial, in some places the world is allowed, others simply oppose the simple act of thinking about doing so. Everyone is free to think and believe what is best for him, but should abortion really be punished?
I have two points of view, which I will briefly explain:
1. Every woman is free to decide on her body.
2. The simple act of taking the life of a being who is not to blame for anything is totally aberrant.
Regarding point number 1 ... yes, of course, every woman is free to decide on her body; but, they must also think about the consequences of having sex without a condom, nowadays every person knows perfectly what it is to have sex, even very young children who, as we say in Venezuela, "know more than two adults together" and "they are born learned." There are many reasons why a woman can decide to have an abortion, and the only one that really supports her is that unwanted pregnancy resulting from rape. Otherwise, if you are going to have sex, why not use some method of contraception? You cannot go through life having sex and aborting as if you were a hobby.
Regarding point number 2 ... It is not fair that due to the bad decision of a couple (at the very least), a being who is not even at fault for anything comes out harmed. That, to me, is murder, in whatever degree; but it is. In one way or another you are killing someone, someone you don't know if he will be an upcoming President, Singer, the best Doctor, etc.
It is a subject that really has a lot to talk about, but, not to be so extensive and boring with so much text; I decide to leave it here and wait for your opinions and comments. Until next time.

Well, abortion can be considered due to many reasons. I believe the reason of it makes the point. Well abortion is often judged in terms of morality.... And it is often good vs good or bad vs bad....
So as per me... The reason makes the difference

@Aansh13 As long as the reason is very valid, such as rape. For the rest, I don't see another good reason.

Every life is precious for me. But many abortions are decided base on financial reasons. Poverty and the inability to provide for another mouth to feed is a more valid reason compare to the religious arguments put forward by the church. Even in other species of the animal kingdom of which humans are, induced abortion occurs when the environment cannot provide enough food for the offspring.

@josie_ La Iglesia (independientemente de la religión que profesen) es la organización más hipócrita y falsa que ha de existir.

In my home country when abortion wasn't allowed it let to babies that were unwanted were adopted to a loving family. My mum's friend wasn't able to get pregnant and she adopted a baby girl from a teenage mum. A little more than a year later she adopted a baby boy from an older career driven lady. There is a program on British television which has adoption stories when the adult adopted child get their biological mum. I think many ladies that have had an adoration regret their decision. That misery is enough for them and they don't need further punishment.
