Good morning
What jolted you and change your life?
— it may be loving someone or losing someone, it may be a change in our health, a disappointment, a happy moment — or just something else we never anticipated. And, boom, we begin to change, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse.
Something for the better for me.
Do I need to change?change what

Too many disappointments in life to contemplate. The worst is looking in the mirror and realizing you are an old man when your brain says you are still 18.

I left the race track one night with all my money lost. I did not have even enough money to take the bus home. I walked home that night which took me about three hours. Thankfully the weather was pleasant.
I thought about the situation I was in and the way my life was going and things did not look good. In desperation, I asked God that if he existed that He would help me get my life straightened out. Shortly after I started to search for God and started seriously looking into the Bible and my life started to change for the better. It was the best and most profound change that I made in my life and I am so thankful for that!!

When I realized in May how painless the cortisone shot was in my knees and how much taking away the pain improved my life. Why did I wait so long?

When I was 7 years old, I first learned that God has a personal name, and later learned that it appears over 7000 times in the original texts in the Bible. In Hebrew it was written YHWH but in English it is Jehovah..The divine name is found in many translation, but most times it has been replaced by titles like Lord, which is not an accurate translation. The Hebrew letters are in many elder churches, but not many know what they mean. Here are some translations where we can find God's name
Read the Bible online, listen, or download. Published by Jehovah’s Witnesses, the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures is accurate, easy to read.

@amadeo I know....darned that age keeps on changing right? But as long as it does we will continue to play beat the clock doing what we can to preserve what we've got.
Oh, maybe I'm just referring to myself here. I just got home from the hair dresser, she changed my hair colour today.

That is a question that only you and God can answer as in what is best for you, and is there anything there you need to change? Even small things sometimes are worth looking at

The day my life ended and a new one began with a phone call that said my husband had passed away in the hospital and I did not get a chance to say goodbye.

@amadeo the hospitals in Riga, Latvia don't work that way. You sit in cramped chairs and they take the patient to examine and then tell you to call the next day to find out what ward he's in and what is going on. Unfortunately, what was going on was that they brought him for some treatment and he passed away.
