Would you drink from a (wine) glass that looked dirty to you?

Last year, I went to somebody's birthday gathering at their house. I was asked what I wanted to drink. When I said wine the lady gave me a wine glass. I looked at it and noticed that it was poorly washed. I let her know that the wine glass was dirty and she gave me a new one but she didn't seem happy by the look she gave me. The new wine glass was not totally clean either but was better than the previous one so I just let it slide and drank from it.
I was at the same person's house recently and was again asked what I wanted to drink. I said wine and was given a wine glass. It was not washed well either. This time I said nothing and just didn't have any wine, even though it was poured into the glass.
I can understand those stains that can be left on the glass after it's washed and air dried but this seemed like it just wasn't washed well. I think before giving people glassware a person should make sure it is totally clean but that is just my opinion.
Would you drink from a (wine) glass that didn't look clean to you and would you ask for another one?

The hostess should always check the glassware before using it. I don't think I could ask for another glass.

@lovebuglena I'd be afraid of embarrassing the host or making her mad!

You wouldn't ask for a different glass?

@lovebuglena I wouldn't want to embarrass the person or invite snarky looks.

I am not sure I could ask for a clean glass. I would be afraid of offending her. An option would to take the glass into the restroom and empty it and wash it yourself. When you return to part, just simply ask for a refill.
