I don't envy you!! I thought I had it tough with just one child...well make that two including my exhusband he was as bad as the baby!!! I finally had to give up on my "ex" as he was a handful and couldn't handle much of anything. Once I started raising my daughter on my own things were much easier and she was a wonderful help around the house.
Right now I would love to have a good night's sleep. I haven't slept well for the past 3 days, since I got out of the hospital. I suddenly blacked out and when I came too I was in the hospital under observation after having had seven seizures. It came as a huge surprise to wake up hospitalized!!! I was released the same day I woke up but I am still a bit shaky and not feeling on top of things. Hopefully I'll get to sleep through the night and start feeling better soon...I don't like feeling "not quite right". I'm on medication for the seizures but still I am frightened about having more of them. My husband tried to keep me from injuring myself (I fell in the bathroom) and I bruised the daylights out of his arms. So far the medication is helping keep the seizures at bay and I hope it will continue to do so.
Come to think of it a massage sounds good...care to get together for one? It might get all the sore spots out that I amassed from the seizures and from being carried out to the ambulance. They had to hand carry me part way because of the narrow hallway from the bathroom to the front door. Also the bathroom is rather small so it was a case of working me out of the bathroom into the hallway. I know I scared the daylights out of my husband with the seizures.
Take care of you, and take time between chores to get some rest. It isn't easy being a Mom of 4, let alone two toddlers and an infant...the 3rd grader is pretty self sufficient and isn't as dependent as the other children...but they are still of an age that you need to enjoy them as they do grow up so fast.
Take it easy and try to stay cool. It's going to be a scorcher here in my neck of the woods, it's almost 10 a.m. and it's 90 degrees. It doesn't have too far to go to cook us!

woah, why do you have frequent seizures? is it so much stressed your having?. I'm sorry you have to went through all that, it's not easy to get sick and think about your child, hopefully you'll get through with that... You're right i need to take easy as having 4 kids are really exhausting, but sometimes, thoughts in my mind makes me more exhausted than physical work.

@margomyrrh I don't know why I have the seizures. It started a few years ago and they aren't too frequent. Hopefully they did some testing while I was in the hospital and the doctor can let me know what is causing them. Right now it's nice that each day I'm feeling a bit better and hopefully I'll be back to full steam again and can get back to making teddy bears and dealing with other chores. It's hard for me to kick back and rest and recover from the seizures I had a week ago. It's like I said to one of the other members, I thought I was only in the hospital for one day but it turned out to be two days. I don't like not knowing what happened and waking up in a strange place.
I am hoping that one day my daughter will realize that what happened wasn't my fault and will come to me and give me another chance. Her father and step mother fed her a line of lies that she chose to believe rather than come to me and ask for clarification. Maybe one day I'll get the chance to clear things up with her...she might be surprised when she hears the truth.

@BearArtistLady wait, what? well i don't know thw whole story but that is not fair, that is way too much feeding your daughter with lies. )=... by the way, about the siezures have you ask your mom about it? because there are some situation like you have are genetics, like my brother got siezures, he got it from my grandma paternal side.My grandma's seizure ended when she was pregnant with my father.

I don't have kids. So I don't have to deal with screaming children everyday.

oh, is it a good thing or a bad thing? lol... well, they do scream a lot, they scream they're excitement with what they're doing and yell at each other always specially when they don't understand each other and do not yield to each one's want... But although that screaming and yelling i did learn from them, and still have so much to learn for self improvement.. =)
